一名中国留学生初到美国,在机场找厕所,问老外:「Where is W.C.?」老外听不懂。一名中国太太到医院生产,洋护士问她:「Did you have a bowel movement?」她却听不懂。还有人学了几十年的英语,还不晓得英语里的「大便」、「小便」、「放屁」真正应该怎么说……
至于性毛病,更是老中难于启齿、欲语还羞的尴尬。见到洋医生,窘迫万分,不知如何开口才是,真有「犹抱琵琶半遮面」的感受。
以下为一些「禁忌」(taboo)的美语之整理。毕竟这些都是咱们日常生活的一部分,说不定有一天这些「禁忌」之语还能「派上用场」呢!
在美国一般都叫rest room或bath room(男女厕均可)或分别叫做 men‘s room 或 ladies‘ room(=powder room),不过在飞机上,则叫 lavatory,在军中又叫 latrine。至于 W.C.(water closet)仍是过去英国人用的,在美国,几乎没有人使用。

二要随时都准备纠正自己说不好的单词、的短语等
有了这种意识,在模仿时就不会觉得单调、的枯燥,才能主动、的有意识、的有目的地去模仿,这种模仿才是真正的模仿,才能达到模仿的目的,也就是要用心揣摩、的体会。
三要坚持长期模仿一般来说,纯正、的优美的语音、的语调不是短期模仿所能达到的,需要一段时间,时间的长短取于自学者的专心程度。

1、信端(Heading) 信端即信头,一般包括写信人的地址和写信日期。一些正式信函的信端还包括发信人或单位的电话号码、电报挂号、电传、传真和邮政编码等。 西方***中有些信端甚至还有单位负责人的姓名、职务和***等。 信端的目的是使收信人一看便知道书信来自何处,何时发出,便于复信和查阅。用一般的信纸写信时,信端应写在信纸的右上角,若字数较多,可从信纸中间或偏右的地方写起。若字数较少,可适当多向右移一些,使整个信端的重心落在右上角。
信端的写法主要有并列式和斜列式两种。从目前情况来看,前者更为常用。采用并列式时,每行开头要左对齐;采用斜列式时,每行开头逐次向右移二三个字母的距离。例如:

如何识别真假讯盘:
你可能每天都会收到很多新的讯盘,特别是如果你做了网络推广的话,但是其中有很多是无用或者虚假的讯盘,如果是一个真的客户,你没有认真答复可能会失去,如果是国内同行,如果你发了详细的资料或者报价,将会泄漏自己的信息,特别是技术设计比较高的行业,泄漏信息是十分不好的。所以识别真假客户是必要的。如何识别他们?
首先,查一下发件人的IP,方法:右键单击收到的邮件,选择属性-详细信息,在里面你会看到几个IP地址,然后查询IP所属的区域,可以到 *域名隐藏* 52(dot)com这类的网站查,输入IP地址就可以知道来自哪个地区;
其次,如果你的网站有计数器,同时可以参考一下计数器里面的IP记录,看看是不是有这个IP浏览过你的网站;一般来说用国外代理服务器上国内工厂的网站比较困难,所以一般国内的是用真实IP上你的网站,发送邮件的时候可能会用代理服务器。用计数器还有一个好处,就是可以知道浏览你网页的是通过什么地方知道你的,是点击B2B网站上面的链接还是直接输入你的网站地址?如果是直接输入地
